Friday 56: A Catered Thanksgiving

This is a weekly meme hosted by Freda's Voice.
1. Grab a book, any book.
2. Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader.
3. Find any sentence (or a few, just don't spoil it) that grabs you.
4. Post it.
5. Add the URL to your post in the link on Freda's most Friday 56 post.

"Me either," Bernie agreed. "But getting back to the matter at hand, what do we know about everyone that we didn't know before?"

  2. I am curious about this book. Is it a novel or is it based on an actual experience.

    1. Just a novel as far as I know. I seriously could not imagine someone having such a dysfunctional family as the family the company is catering for.

  6. I just love that one day an author woke up and decided that what the world really needed was a mystery novel which was all about food, thus creating the foodie mystery genre! Whoever was that was a genius! I like this teaser although I'd have to read a bit more to know if it's one for me! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!
