This is a weekly meme hosted by Freda's Voice.
These are the rules:
1. Grab a book, any book.
2. Turn to page 56, or 56% on your eReader.
3. Find any sentence (or a few, just don't spoil it) that grabs you.
4. Post it.
5. Add the URL to your post in the link on Freda's most recent Friday 56 post.
Anna and the French Kiss ebook 56%:
"I think maybe, possibly, vaguely remember hitting the snooze button." I jabber to cover my mortification. "Only I guess it was the off button. But I had the alarm on my phone set, too, so I don't know what happened."
I think we've all had one of those mornings when we could have sworn it was the snooze button we pressed or the alarm just never went off for some mysterious reason. Happy reading and have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteFun book. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about this book.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
I remember the days of setting three different alarm clocks in different corners of my apartment to make sure I dragged my bootie out of bed. Now I'm "old" and have no problem just waking up to the alarm on my phone. Heck, half the time I'm vaguely awake before it even goes off.
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds cute. I haven't read anything set in France in a while (even though All the Light We Cannot See still sits on my bookshelf unread). This one sounds like much better summer reading though.
My Friday 56 is from Season of Salt & Honey by Hannah Tunnicliffe: http://www.foofynotfoofy.com/foofynotfoofy/2015/7/24/the-friday-56-season-of-salt-and-honey-by-hannah-tunnicliffe
Hi!
